Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage groups of travelers during tours, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Provide insightful commentary and information about the destinations, cultures, and attractions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the tour.
- Coordinate with local guides, transportation services, and accommodation providers.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during the tour promptly and professionally.
- Assist with itinerary planning, including scheduling activities and excursions.
- Maintain communication with clients before, during, and after the tour to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Foster a positive group dynamic, encouraging interaction and engagement among travelers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in tourism / diploma, hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a tour leader or in a similar role in the travel industry.
- Strong knowledge of travel destinations and cultures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage groups and resolve conflicts effectively.
- First aid certification is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in a second language is advantageous.
