Day 1: Guwahati

Arrive in Guwahati in the morning and transfer to your hotel for check-in and freshening up. Begin your day with a visit to the Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important temples in Assam, located atop Nilachal Hill.
Later, take a leisurely walk along the Brahmaputra Riverfront to enjoy the serene views and perhaps take a short river cruise if time allows. As evening approaches, explore the local markets for handicrafts and souvenirs.
Conclude your day with dinner at a local eatery or your hotel, savoring more regional specialties before returning to your hotel to relax and unwind.
