Day 1 Arrival in Bagdogra – Transfer to Phuentsholing

After arriving at Bagdogra Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Bhutanese guide and driver. From here, embark on a scenic drive to the Bhutan border town of Phuentsholing, which is approximately a 4-5-hour drive. As you journey through the Himalayan foothills, take in the lush greenery and small villages that offer a glimpse of rural life. Phuentsholing is Bhutan’s commercial hub, where modernity and tradition meet. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening relaxing or exploring the local markets.
